Lars-Henrik Ståhl’s scientific production has mainly been oriented in two different fields. The first one concerns architectural theory and philosophy, and the examination of issues concerning the role of aesthetics in contemporary society. The results were presented as extensive texts, articles and contributions to congresses, but also as art works, models, images and video productions. Ståhl has also been active, in the development of practice-based research in the field of architecture and design. Beside articles and contributions to congresses, he was also been leader for the practise based research projects Los Angeles Islands and Placebo (both projects financed by The Swedish Research Council).
